Celtics Sports Foundation 2006-2007 Season Strategic Objectives

     This year, the overall objective is to create an environment so that all soccer players, supporters, spectators, enthusiasts and admirers of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the game.
     To achieve this overall strategic objective, a series of more specific objectives and action plans have been developed.
Foundation Objectives:
• Strengthen the Foundation’s governance process by expanding and enhancing the leadership team.
• Continue fostering partnerships with Park Districts, Cities, Community Organizations and other soccer clubs.
• Increase the Foundation’s infrastructures through investments consistent with the road map.
Community and Member Relation Objectives:
• Improve members’ networking/learning opportunities through events, expositions, seminars and formal gatherings.
• Become a catalyst in uniting and growing youth soccer clubs in the community with a shared and common objective toward strong and united youth soccer programs for all levels.
• Explore partnerships opportunities with other organized synergetic sports clubs and organization.
Soccer Operations Objectives:
• Strengthen the quality and memberships of the Foundation’s O-30 soccer program by taking a more active role in the league organizations that govern O-30 soccer.
• Expand the Foundation’s membership to younger soccer enthusiasts by creating an open competitive and recreational age group soccer team(s).
• Improve member literacy and involvement by offering soccer coaching and refereeing training classes through collaboration with existing education centers.
     To share the past successes of the club with our fellow soccer players, community and extended families of athletes and other sports enthusiasts, and to achieve these ambitious and important objectives, the Foundation is relying on the support of all its members.
