Celtics Youth Team wins Winter U10 Boys Competitve Division
at Sportsplex in St. Charles

April 2007, St. Charles, IL - The U10 Boys TCSA St. Charles Celtics capped an undefeated NISL Fall traveling season by winning the Winter U10 Boys Competive Division at the Sportsplex on Tuesday, beating Campton United 3-2 in the championship game. The indoor experience was a huge success for this newly formed youth soccer team, who finished the indoor season with an overall record of 10-1-1. The boys enjoyed very close competition from other local teams, including the TCSA Bulldogs, TCSA Inferno, and TCSA Lightning Bolts from the same club. Next the Celtics will play outdoors in the Spring NISL North Gold II Division with many of these same teams.

The Celtics youth team is supported by the St Charles Celtics Men's Soccer Club, which is where their team name is derived. Many of the fathers have played soccer for the Celtics over the years, and the club actively participates with practices and training as needed. The Celtics fathers along with the rest of the parents aim to promote fun, sportsmanship, quality soccer, family participation, and the strategy seems to be paying off. These boys are certainly finding FUN in soccer.
